Jimmy Kimmel Live’s security guard Veatrice Rice lost her battle with cancer and passed away from the disease yesterda,January 22.Veatrice was a tough as nails, foul mouthed woman who would make us laugh whenever she opened her mouth on the show which wasn’t that often so you it was special when she did.She has a good sense of humor.Rice cheered up her colleagues with her wise observations. Jimmy Kimmel said tonight about Rice’s death: “Yesterday we lost a co worker and a very friend. I don’t want to get too choked up. Our personal was not a sentimental person but … we thought it would be best to share her best moments.”
Rice’s bio on ABC reads as follows:

Veatrice Rice will be missed. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
